Alexandre Tanese Nogueira
Raised in Italy, Alexandre spent the first 20 years of his life immersed in the country’s rich artistic culture, where he developed his passion for art. In 1986, he decided to expand his horizons and moved to Brazil, where he began his artistic career, initially dedicating himself to creating abstract works.
Abstract - 1989
Since 1997, Alexandre began working for regional associations of Arabian horse breeders and with the Brazilian Association of Arabian Horse Breeders (ABCCA). Initially, he produced plaques in high relief and busts for events. Over time, his techniques improved, allowing him to create a variety of sophisticated models. Today, he has dozens of distinct models that, over the past 27 years, have become central pieces in all events promoted by ABCCA. His sculptures not only honor the champions of competitions but are also used as awards and trophies at these significant moments.
His career took a new direction when, during a visit to a stud farm, he encountered the Arabian horse breed, an experience that deeply enchanted him and marked the beginning of his connection with the equestrian world. Inspired by the beauty and elegance of these magnificent animals, he began his career as a self-taught sculptor, developing his skills and techniques independently. He built a studio in his home and started creating his first sculptures of Arabian Horses.

His creations celebrate the beauty and significance of Arabian horses and have earned appreciation within the equine community and at equestrian events.
Mangalarga Sculpture
In addition to his remarkable work in representing the Arabian Horse, Alexandre also dedicated himself to the Brazilian breed called Mangalarga and began producing trophies for events organized by the Brazilian Association of Mangalarga Horse Breeders (ABCCRM). His foray into Brazilian equine art enriched his experience and expanded his creative repertoire, fostering a greater understanding and expression of his art
Currently, with over 30 years dedicated to representing the Arabian horse and 10 years to the Mangalarga, Alexandre is renowned for his skill in capturing the true beauty and majesty of these breeds. His passion and dedication are reflected in each sculpture, inspiring admirers around the world.
